Costa de Cabanas was developed by an Irish group in 2006. Keen to make the most of the sunshine and the nearby beach, they focused on providing holiday apartments with large windows leading to spacious balconies and terraces. This ensures that the rooms are filled with natural sunlight, taking advantage of the Mediterranean weather. These factors, complimented by spacious interiors creates a wonderful ambiance, ensuring that your holiday gets off to a great start from the moment you arrive.

Guests can enjoy a wealth of facilities during their stay such as outdoor swimming pool with poolside bar, bicycle rental and car rental.

The complex is located near the Natural Park of the Ria Formosa.

Cabanas is a picturesque and tranquil fishing village. It is the ideal place for holidays throughout the year, thanks to mild weather and several white sandy beaches (island of Cabanas, Island of Tavira, Barril, Fabrica, Manta Rota, Praia Verde, Monte Gordo, Vila Real St.Antonio) .

The beach of Cabanas is an island that is easily accessed via a short boat which crosses the Ria Formosa. The development of Coast Cabanas is only a 3-minute walk from the water’s edge where you can access the boats to the beach.

Tavira is the nearest city, 5 km away. It’s an historical city, marked by traces of the Roman empire, characterised by beautiful churches. The River Gilão cuts through the centre of the city.

This whole area is perfect for walking or cycling and offers all water sports, with the advantage of the recent Ecovia path being created for lovers of cycling. This path links the entire county from Tavira along the coast and is part of a project that aims to connect all of the Algarve, from Sagres to Vila Real de Santo Antonio.

The bus station is 500 metres from the complex and we have a taxi service working with us.
